I tried the monofin and I can tell you my feelings:

It can be fit for hours without any problems, the footpocket  is great: comfortable and performing
Is lightweight in propulsion, doesn't  stress even high-intensity legs
Propulsion is fluid and very efficient both in underwater swim and supine surface recovery
The swim dive, both continuous and with sliding breaks, is very effective and in my perception, the performance is greater than at least 25% compared to the traditional monofin
The fatique  is eliminated,  the workout can continue for a long time without any problems
