Going about fifty km to the north to Riace and Guardavalle it is also possible to venture near fascinating sunken wrecks, including that of a ship over 70 meters long.

Moving instead towards the Ionian Calabria, on the Coast of the Gods, there is the Capocozzo-Vibo Marina-Capo Vaticano-Pizzo Marine Park which today extends up to Tropea, not by chance one of the most popular destinations among scuba divers (and home to the last Italian underwater fishing team championships).

The most typical fish here are the bream and the parrot fish, but the richness of the habitat is such that unexpected encounters can also occur.
